Currently with five members, our board will be responsible for financial performance, strategic direction, major acquisitions and disposals, overall risk management, capital expenditure, operational budgeting and business planning.

Oluka Geofrey

Founder & Managing Director​

Responsible for operational oversight and also strategic planning for the company. He is also part of the recruitment team when it comes to new members joining in. Geofrey manages strategic relationships with stakeholders in the Industry as well as looking for external resources that can drive the growth of the Company. He reports to board of directors. He has been leading the Archtech Agro Uganda operation for over 3 years, having started out his career with Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) as Logistics and administrative officer in 2017. He has occupational experience in food standards and safety and robust knowledge in solar drier’s installation and innovation, a profound interest in agribusiness, sustainable renewable energy, climate smart farming, over seven years Geofrey has delivered projects with NARO Holding Ltd and European Union MARKUP in partnership with Uganda Coffee Development Authority(UCDA) Project through CSV approach in Rwenzori Elgon and Kigezi region

Dorothy Kyomuhangi

Co Founder & Lead Business Development

As lead Business development Dorothy identifies and develops new business opportunities, builds relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, and partners, evaluates existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn’t. She also fosters and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions. Dorothy is a business Development Consultant, Social Entrepreneur, financing solutions expert, and farmer. She also serves as team leader at Asset Profiling and Management Co. Ltd, a Business

Development Services company focused on promoting agribusiness access to finance and markets, managing partner Gitenderi Horticultural Farms – Export of vegetables, Dorothy is also Cocoa farmer – Currently 20 Acres

Malasha Richard

Co Founder & Head Finance & Administration 

As Head Finance and administration Richard establishes effective accounting and bookkeeping systems and procedures and oversees, prepares and presents quarterly and yearly financial budgets and cash flow forecasts, and Manages bank accounts and monitors reconciliations, transactions including wire, Oversees recruitment of staff, consultants, Ensures the effective development and administration of IT systems, such as databases, email, cloud filing, backup and online communication tools interns and volunteers and Maintains personnel files, health benefits and other insurances updated

Emaru Andrew

Water System & Drainage Consultant

As Water System and Drainage Consultant he leads our Irrigation and water engineering department and ensures access to safe and reliable water solar irrigation system while managing drainage effectively to mitigate flood risks and protect the environment. Andrew also evaluates emerging technologies and innovative solutions to improve the efficiency, reliability, and resilience of our solar water irrigation and drainage system.  Andrew aslo works in water for production department in ministry of water and environment, with the vast experience of 6 years in the field of irrigation, water resources and drainage in the eastern part of the country and he has design and lead implementation of over 10 small solar powered and 2 medium scale gravity irrigation projects as a project engineer in eastern region, (Busoga, Bugisu, Bukedi, Sebei and Teso sub region) implemented in house by Ministry of water and environment.

Yapchesikor Emily

Finance & Admin Assistant Intern 

As Admin Assistant Intern Emily processes work orders, supplier invoices, purchase orders, expenses claims, account payments, and payroll, and compiling financial data to prepare monthly revenue reports and ensuring that client accounts are accurate and up to date. Emily currently last year at MTAC Mbale campus pursuing Diploma in public Administration and Management, she also holds certificate in business administration of MTAC institute.
